The Kawartha Trent Synchro Club has been growing steadily since the late 1960's and today is one of Canada 's finest clubs. A dynamic Board of Directors and top quality coaching staff are the main reason behind our success. Our successes are well illustrated by the fact that since 1991 club members have been honored with over 100 Peterborough Civic Sports Awards and Civic Sports Awards of Merit for excelling in Provincial, Divisional, National and International competitions. We have won Provincial (Tier 6-7) Titles in solo, duet and team events as well as team and duet Provincial Titles at the 'B' (now called Tier 1 - 5) level. We also won the Scottish Open Senior Duet Title in 1998. The KTSC Varied team won the national championship in 2003. In 2004 KTSC captured a bronze at Nationals, the Tier 3 won gold at provincial championships and 2005 was a gold medal year for our Tier 4 team. We are very proud that several former KTSC swimmers have represented Canada on National "A" Teams. Anne Davenport and Margie Davenport were formerly on the Canadian National 'B' team and Amy Caskey was on the 2003 Canadian National Team. Estella Warren, a former KTSC swimmer and national solo champion, is currently a supermodel and actress. The club has a membership of both recreational and competitive swimmers age 6 and up. Please feel free to call the club at 743-3442, fax at 742-8899 or email our Interim head coach Tracey Leeson at coach@kawarthatrentsynchro.com or our club administrator Karen Seymour at info@kawarthatrentsynchro.com if you have any questions. |
